Dr. Felipe Oyarzun-Ampuero

PhD in Medicine Research and Development from the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain), he is Associate Researcher of the project as a leading researcher in the study of delivery mechanisms of active molecules in nano, micro and macrosystems for chronic therapies at the University of Chile . Dr. Oyarzún-Ampuero’s work area will be the design, development and characterization of ultra-slow delivery systems based on his research on aromatic and electrostatic interaction polymer matrices for the development of complexes, nanoparticles and massive aggregates, conductive a controlled release kinetics.

PhD in Chemical Sciences from the University of Santiago de Chile (USACH), principal investigator of the Interdisciplinary Center for Neurosciences of Valparaíso (CINV), director of the Center for Bioinformatics and Integrative Biology (CBIB) at the Andrés Bello University (UNAB), academic in the Faculty of Life Sciences UNAB. Due to his extensive experience in bio-nanotechnology, computational design of drugs, peptides and protein engineering, Dr. González-Nilo joins the project in August 2021 in the line of in silico design of peptide candidates and drug delivery systems. , and to develop new lines of interaction with computational chemistry.

PhD in Biotechnology from the University of Barcelona (Spain), she is an Associate Researcher and academic at the Andrés Bello University. His research area is the synthesis and characterization of peptides, and their potential therapeutic use for the development of new targeted bioactive drug delivery systems.
